About Us

Lamphouse is located 200 metres off Highway 3 in West Fernie in the heart of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. We are just 2 minutes from historic downtown Fernie and 5 minutes from Fernie Alpine Resort ski hill. The Elk River, a world renouned fly fishing river, is a 5 minute walk from our hillside location. The wild flower natural landscape invites four-footed visitors to Lamphouse including elk, deer, moose and the occasional bear.
Seasonal activities such as golf, guided fishing and professional cooking lessons can be arranged for you before your arrival. Contact us and let us know how we can help.
If you require special dietary consideration or just want to try something different, advise us ahead of time and as the in-house professional chef I will accommodate your requests whenever possible. For our out-of-country guests, German is my second language. We offer a non-smoking environment, cable TV and wireless internet access.
